Identity documents for rentals: When you rent from a rental shop that requires verification, you may photograph your ID card or passport to attach to that rental. The photo is stored temporarily, visible only to you and the shop you rented from, and is automatically and permanently deleted within 14 days after the rental ends

Videos or photos you record or select will be stored on your device and shared to external platforms (e.g. TikTok) only when you choose to share them. We do not automatically store or upload your videos/photos to our servers.

TripDeDee uses YouTube API Services to allow platform administrators to automatically publish travel content (Reels/Shorts) to their own YouTube channel via our Auto-Schedule and Autopilot systems.

The Family Tracking feature in the TripDeDee app lets members of a family group (or close friends) share their realtime location with each other temporarily — for example while traveling, sightseeing, or meeting up — designed on a Privacy-First principle.

Background sharing: If you enable "Always-on location sharing" (in Group Settings) and grant "Always" location permission, your location continues to be shared even when the app is closed or you switch apps, so family can follow you while travelling. You can turn this off at any time in Group Settings; if off, location is shared only while the app is open.

Self-renewing session: Once you start sharing, it continues until you stop it yourself. If no location is sent for over 30 days, the session is closed and deleted automatically.

Motion data (accelerometer) — collected and processed on your device only, and only when you enable "Auto crash detection". Raw sensor data never leaves your device.

Android: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION; ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION only when background sharing is on; ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION only when crash detection is on; a foreground-service notification while background sharing is active.

You choose the permission level — if you don't grant "Always", background sharing simply won't run, but in-app sharing still works normally.

When you tap SOS, the app sends an alert with your current location to every member of the group and starts sharing your location. This feature notifies your family/friends — it is not an official emergency service. In a real emergency, contact local emergency services (191 / 1669 in Thailand).

How to Stop Sharing or Leave/Delete a Group

Tap "Stop sharing" in the Family screen anytime — location sending stops immediately (both foreground and background).

Turn off "Always-on location sharing" in Group Settings — background sharing stops.

Leave a group — other members will no longer see your location.

Our service is designed for users aged 20 years or older per Thai Civil and Commercial Code. Minors under 20 must obtain parental consent before using the service and providing personal data.
